• No pre-lightening needed. For the full smoky off-black, apply to light brown, blonde or lightened hair.
• Wear protective gloves and pour the desired amount of color into a bowl.
• Apply to clean, towel-dried, unconditioned hair with an applicator brush.
• For full coverage, section hair into four parts and secure with clips. Apply color from root to tip, working in 1-inch sections.
• Leave on for 30 minutes, or longer for a deeper result.
• Rinse with cool or lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
• Do not shampoo. Condition if needed.
